The Book Group meets via Zoom next Wednesday 14th September. We decided to read Kristin Kobes du Mez’s book ‘Jesus and John Wayne – How white evangelicals corrupted a Faith and fractured a Nation’. The book is rather different from our usual read as it is largely a narrative history. However it is a fascinating read and one can only hope it never happens here.
